My solution. Glue a small hunk of acrylic to the far end of the MLT and screw a vinyl wire clamp down. I also used some 3/8" copper tubing as a dip tube that sits 1/8" off the bottom to reduce dead space.

Looks good!

This was my solution...

I inserted a small, close nipple in the end of the braid and clamped it down (leaving some threads exposed) with a SS hose clamp. Then, I screwed on an endcap. It's just enough weight to keep it from moving around on me.

Good ideas for a rectangluar MLT.

I have a round one and used a tee fitting right off the bulkhead and have my braid in a circle. It doesn't float.
