I have been using for my last 2 batches some old hops that have been vacuum packed and stored in a fridge in a chill chest. I'd guess there about 3 years old. At what point is to old? and will they add a super unpalatable taste to the beer?

i've never liked useing extract. Always used frozen.

For the rasberry i recomend using frozen. I did a raz wheat beer. And they worked great! gave it great flavor.

my last beer had 8oz of hops in it it came out amazing. But i love hoppy beers. Have you ever had Dog Fish Head 90min IPA? that to me is the right amount of hops. The 120 is amazing to but i can't drink more that 2 of them before i'm good!

I just use bottleed water .79cents a gal is a good insurence pollicy for me. But the filter maybe cheaper in the long run.

That clone looks good. need to brew another english style beer for on tap.

Hey Guys. Has anyone ever got hops of of ebay? I ordered some for 7 bucks and got 13oz total from the guy. 10oz of cascade and 3 of simco. Havn't opened the bags yet going to wait till i go to brew. But they look great from the outside. nick

Well guys after brewing this beer and letting it rest for way to long... We have a verdict. This beer rocked!!! Still have to brew part 2 but now I have a line to pass in making this beer better!!! My friends like this much more than my Rasberry Wheat beer.
