My Amber with too many specialty malts: Caramunich II, Golden Naked Oats, Special B, few oz Roasted Barley and 2 additions of honey. Fruity hops are conflicting with the big body. What was I thinking? A mess of a recipe, but fun and still tasty nonetheless! Cheers!

👍 Nice! I did a similar thing for my Brewbucket. "Borrowed" the material from work. Used 2" wide velcro strips for closure. I did the bottom as a separate piece, but it's kind of a pain to setup. Especially when I forget to install the bottom piece before filling the bucket with beer! Good luck!

Tapped my keg of english brown ale 13B tonight. Turned out good - wanted more caramel intensity, but it's clean with bread and toast flavors. Golden naked oats promote character.

Cool. If you are going there, they also sell homebrew packs of their house yeast via Imperial. You can get it at the General Store. I'm not part of a homebrew club either, but have been making a few friendly connections via Cadillac Straits in Madison Hts. They have a nice homebrew store there...
