    This was my first batch and I only did a single fermentation. It was in the fermenter for 2 Weeks. It tasted like my wife's dinner rolls that weren't fit to eat. She blamed bad yeast. Could it be that I messed something else up.

    Thanks. We have been using oxyclean for years. I didnt think about using it on glass.

    I have a glass carboy that has been in my basement for at least 20 years. Does anyone have any ideas how to clean it and get 20 years of dust and grime out of it. Or should I just leave it alone, I would hate to ruin a good batch because of a bad carboy.
