my beer labels are 7x4 and the label goes almost all the way around.. I imagine it would be no different for your bottles, just find the right size and make the label to match

redid my label taking tips and inspiration from the better looking labels on here. Kinkos has a paper that has a sticky back, so I got them printed there. Laser printer, sticky paper, cut to size for me, $1 each? sounds like a winner.

Im not an expert, but I would assume the yeast is going to multiply inside your beer so you end up with enough, just a slower start than usual

    fermentation hasnt started?

I have done some more reading and decided to rack the mead from my bottling bucket, which doubles as my primary fermenter, into a carboy, due to wanting my bottling bucket back before the mead is done.. instead of transferring like I normally do being extremely careful about aeration, I let the...

    fermentation hasnt started?

My man cave stays around 72F and the yeast strand is supposed to be fine in that temperature.. it did sit in my car for about 20 minutes when I went into the grocery store to buy the honey.. do you think I killed it then? It wasn't hot when I got back, but it certainly wasn't cool/cold (about 80...

    fermentation hasnt started?

I know that fermentation in beer can take as long as 72 hours to begin.. but I have never had an issue and usually I have crazy bubbling within an hour. This is my first batch of mead and its been 24 hours with 0 activity as far as I can tell... My recipe 16lbs of clover honey 5 oranges...

    Attempt at citrus IPA

Ya I have read about the pith bitterness, so I made sure to just barely scratch the surface so I could avoid the bitterness. I'm going to leave this batch with the zest only, and next time, if I want more, I'll try the citra hops.

I'm good with photoshop, it was the labeling process itself (printing) that I was curious about. I will have to get some laser prints made

Can someone please explain "Cold Crashing"?

soluble is to be dissolved in a liquid to make a homogeneous solution (the smallest of particle size mixture) yeast is microscopic, that's why its soluble.. the basic idea is dissolved to where you cant tell where yeast is specifically.. with kids in a pool, you can pick them out (heterogeneous)

I'm sure this has been asked before, but im asking again.. for the guys on here that have the more professional looking logos, how do you do it. I can manage the design, and I'm sure I will revise it again and again.. what I was hoping for was the proper size I will need to use as well as how...
