i use a turkey fryer set from Academy. 30 quart pot, that came with a turkey basket for BIAB, and a dial thermometer. i went with a little bit "higher grade" kit with stainless steel parts, and it didn't come with a burner so i bought one there also. total for the 30qt S.S. turkey fryer set...

have you tried paint stripper? what about clay bar? like what you would use to detail a car. if it's not clear coated then the clay bar might get it off, but paint stripper would be easier
