Have to agree, most, if not all of the 'fashionable' factory ciders produced in and around the UK these days are very bland. It drives me mad on a night out when the choice is either Strongbow or Magners. It is much easier to find a choice of real ale pubs than it is to find even 1 pub supplying...

I was woken up this morning to a crashing noise of my table giving way and 40 pints of brewing cider floating along the bedroom carpet. Several towels and swear words later we managed to prevent the cider from entering the living room via the ceiling. (New carpet may be the next project)...

Many thanks for the advice, its all bottled up now and the waiting game begins. I have started using Tesco 2 litre 17p still water pet bottles as I make the next brew with the still water and prefer the slightly safer idea of not exploding glass bottles in the house. Here's hoping it will be...
