    ok thanks, I think I'll just leave it this time and if it comes undone then I'll glue it next time and try that, this stuff is cheap so I aint worried about messing up and having to start over.

    So I switched from brass fittings and am now using CPVC stuff. I am still using the SS washer hose and SS clamps to lock that to the CPVC, my question is, should I use the "glue/cement" stuff to lock the CPVC together, or should I not worry about that and just hope it all holds together?
