    Drinking a amber ale I kegged but tasted awesome before I kegged Wtf. Then again I waited to put in fridge for five days after I kegged. Taste like a hint of cider?

    Ok I kegged a saision amber ale after in the primary for three weeks. I tried it before I kegged it and it was great. The starsan the hell out of the keg then kegged it. I then let the keg sit at about room temp 72 degrees for three days. Put it in fridge for 1 day and taste a little apple?

    well I run three burners and I dump in sparge water and mix it in the grains and wait ten mins.. thats about how long it takes me .. Only ten mins extra.. so your right it does take longer.. my bad

    if your going to do no sparge you might as well batch sparge. Just a suggestion.. it realy does not take any longer. Happy brewing.

    partial (mini) mash og very high

    If you want you should add about another gallon of water.. but If you like High gravity beers leave it alone... That is all up to you.. If you want it more in the 1060 range add a gallon.. that should do.. but do it in 1/2 gallon incriments then mix and take another reading.

    thats why I don't brew cider or wine... too damn impatient... I do respect you for all the work you do..... I will stick to brewing beer... P.S you seem to have pleanty experience to know that you sure do need to age cider for at least a year.

    all I did was pour a gallon of water in a pot then mark it... then poured two gallons then marked it ... 3. 4.. etc... I dont know about using a formula... but then again I forgot everything in learned in high school and college.

Its my offday and I really do not feel like babysitting a mash... Know what Fuket.. .I am making an extract brew... So I did made basic IPA...

    Jhart is right.. I just kegged a AG NewZealand Rye IPA and it is awesome...It is one of the best IPA beers I have ever had....

    I would order it... It is well worth it... I tried AG version I kinda wish I made a double batch because this one is going fast. I would recommend dry hopping in a mesh or nylon bag so you dont get hops all over the place... either way it dont matter this beer is my fav out of all the batches I...

    Ok update on my AG New Zealand ipa. I let it sit in the primary for three weeks. I racked it to a keg. I added the hops in the keg in a muslin bag. I will let it sit in the keg for a week. I tried it before I kegged it. Awesome. Turned out to be 6.5 Abv
