    yeast question

    i just got my first batch into the fermenter. problem is, i made up my dry yeast a bit sooner than i should have i guess and it ended up sitting (without stirring) for about 30 mins instead of the 15 the package said. i pitched it anyway. is this going to be a problem you think?

    Boiling water to start yeast?

    I have 2pkgs of muntons dry active brewing yeast that i plan on using for my first batch. the back of the package says to use boiled water at 38 to 48 degrees C. I am wondering since i am using bottled spring water will need to boil before putting in the yeast?
