    $100 to spend on ??

I'd say couple carboys for better fermentation. Or more kegs for secondary fermentation.

Adding hops at only 10 min and 1 min

I was listening to a Jamil podcast and he said with some of his beers he will put in his bittering hops at 10 min left and aroma at 1 min left. His recommendation was to use software (like beer smith) to make sure the ibu count stays the same. I am brewing a pale ale tomorrow and I was going...

    Starting First Batch Tomorrow

Greetings, You will want to add 3 gallons of water to your post boil wort. I agree with using a funnel to transfer the wort to your carbon. There should no reason not to get all of your wonderful wort into the carboy, especially since you are boiling only 2 gallons. As for the water I would...

    Blue Moon Clone

I brewed a batch similar to the earlier recipes. When I bottled it, the orange was very strong and the coriander was non existent. Couple of weeks later after the bottles has carbonated the orange and coriander had balanced out.

    Imperial IPA

After reading the article linked above about partigyle brewing, I was planning on pulling the first 6 gallons off to make a strong beer, then pull off 12 to make an average beer. I was thinking about using the same hop amounts and schedule for both. As an aside, I see you use brew pal, and I...

    Imperial IPA

The article recommended pulling the first 6 gallons off to make the stronger beer, then pull off 10 gallons for an average beer. Would 28 pounds of grain support this?

    LP Burners for 20g batches?

I have a question related to burners. I am building my brew tree and have three banjo bg-12 burners, look like small hurricane burners, and a 30 psi regulator. What is the best way to pipe / cable this all up?

    Mashing technique

I am going to be brewing my first all grain batch in my three tiered system. My question is after pulling off the first runnings; how do you get them back into the mash kettle without destroying the grain bed, or is it ok to stir before sparging. I have heard and read conflicting information...

    All grain setup

I am moving from extract brewing to all grain. I have three kegs that have been converted to kettles and the purchased three burners. Next is to build the sculpture or rack itself. Is there any place that can be recommended to find design drawings or blueprints for a gravity system? Thank you.
