Is a collar possible on a mini fridge?

I see that it is popular among home brewers that use keezers to build a collar for it. I was wondering if it would be possible to do the same kind of idea with a mini fridge. The mini fridge I have as you can see in the pictures will not close when a keg is in it. I have 2 choices.. A) cut the...

    Keggle.. Is it worth it?

Not looking to down size at all. I would like to use 1-2 for fermentation purposes. I would also like to turn 1 into a mash tun. I have access to someone who is willing to do all the welding I need so using converted kegs seemed like a good choice

    Keggle.. Is it worth it?

Right now I use a 20 gal kettle for my boil. I have been looking at using 15.5 gal kegs in my brewery for one purpose or another. As we all know finding and purchasing a keg legally is very difficult. It is even worth trying to find kegs the honest way? Im starting to feel like I should stick...

    LP Question

My brewery is capable of doing batch sizes up to 15 gal. That's why I went with such a massive burner. When I was burner shopping I read "capable of bringing 10 gal to a boil in 10 mins" I fell in love. I've never used the burner to its full potential because it scares the **** out of me. I...

    LP Question

I have a 210k+ btu banjo burner with a 30 psi regulator. It seems like even at the lowest setting I use way to much LP.. I typically use a entire 20lb LP tank per brew session. Is this normal? How long should a 20lb tank last?

    Bottling from a keg

It is a ball lock keg.. I have thought about bending the coil down to sit on the backside of fridge rather then the top. My only concern is kinking the line thus making the fridge useless. Is there no way to bottle from a keg without refrigeration?

    Bottling from a keg

Hello All, I'm in need of some much needed advice. I recently bought my first corny keg. I bought it based on the thought that the mini fridge I bought at the same time would hold it. Well I was wrong... The keg is about 1/4 inch to big to fit under the coil in the fridge.. Thus my problem. I...

    How long is to long?

I have 4 gal of a barley wine I brewed about 18 month ago now. I tasted it the other day and WOW! Is it great. Except it seems it has lost all of its hop profile. I would like to bottle this very soon but I have a couple concerns. 1) since it has aged for such a long time do I need to re-pitch...
