How about “legendary”? Seems like a good description for Yooper!

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

Thanks to @Thorrak and all the contributors on this. I'm really enjoying the new features! I'm assuming the time zone offset is from UTC/GMT. The battery age value is a great feature but I'm trying to figure out how to interpret this so I can tell if I'm close to replacing my battery?

    Ginger in beer

When I was researching my ginger molasses porter, I came across this site: Brewing with Ginger – NC Home Brewing. I used 2 oz. of fresh ginger and it was noticeable. I think I’ll use a little less next time. If you’re unsure about the flavor, start low.

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

I used my TiltBridge for my last brew and it worked great! My only question is regarding the date and time reported to Google Sheets. It seemed to be off by 2 days and 2 hours? I can't seem to figure out how I did that... I assumed it simply used the time from the network/internet as it's...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

@Thorrak - I'll send you the zip file in a PM. I'm afraid I don't always "get" GitHub. I was very happy when you made the flashing software! I think the use of the threaded inserts may be a disadvantage for some. It uses 7 each #0-80 (McMaster 93365A102, $12.23/100) and 4 each #2-56...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

Heat-staked inserts from McMaster-Carr (we use them at work). The holes in the circuit boards are so small, it’s hard to use anything self-threading. It uses #0 for the boards & #2 to hold the base to the top. I could provide STL files. Is this the best place?

I thought I’d share a couple pictures of the housing I made.

Fresh, Candied, Powdered and in Syrup, Ginger Pale Ale

Okay, thanks! Apologies for taking this a little off-topic, but I’ve been curious about the amounts of ginger in various recipes. You’d think that being from Charlie P. and published in Zymurgy it would be pretty tasty, but I’ve been burned by that before...

Fresh, Candied, Powdered and in Syrup, Ginger Pale Ale

@hafmpty - I’m curious how the Ginger Dinger turned out? I’m thinking of brewing it too, but from what I’ve read 8 oz. seems like quite a lot? Any feedback is appreciated!

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

I've done both. This time, even though I tared it in water, it wasn't reading the same as what I measured with a hydrometer and thermometer so I input those values.

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

I'm using this on my current brew side-by-side with the Tilt App on my iPad and just noticed that the values reported by TiltBridge match the uncalibrated output. No doubt the App is making the adjustment for calibration. Is this something that could be incorporated into the TiltBridge...

Can you point me to the latest Beta build? I never could get the Google script to work. Thanks!

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

Thanks for your responses! The Google Sheets problem may just be me so I was posting to see if anyone else had gotten it working -and if they had any thoughts of why I can't. I took a quick look at the script, but my understanding is pretty limited. I'll take a look at Brewer's Friend this...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

I'm having a problem setting up logging via Google Sheets. I've followed the steps of copying and publishing the master sheet. I've pasted the cloud URL into the TiltBridge settings and named the beer. TiltBridge is reading my Tilt and my router logs show it is accessing www.tiltbridge.com...

TiltBridge - Tilt-to-WiFi Device for Tilt Hydrometer

I think some micro-USB cables are for charging only and don't support data transfer? I know the first cable I tried wouldn't work because of that.

The new version worked for me too! Thanks @Thorrak for the update! Now, if I can just get the Google sheets part to work...

BrewFlasher - Windows/MacOS app for flashing ESP8266/ESP32 Brewing Projects

Flashing the TFT version did get my display to work and it sees the Tilt. Unfortunately, now I can't access the device through the browser. Using http://tiltbridge.local/ or the IP address results in a blank tab. My router says it's connected, but I can't access it to finish setting it up...
