Thanks for the response. I'm weighing the pros and cons as to HERMS or RIMS. My biggest concern is putting together a system where I can nail my mash temps.
Although an old thread, I'm curious as to why you think RIMS is better than HERMS. I've been using HERMS for a while, but am now in the process of rebuilding the rig. I have the harware for a RIMS. Thoughts?
Would an old-school can seamer work for sealing beer cans? It looks like people have used hand-crank can seamers for "canning." I'm wondering why one of these couldn't be used to seal beer cans.
