    Time to Bottle??

    Alright so my Dunkelweizen has been in Primary like my recipe said for two weeks. Yesterday I moved it up onto a table in hopes of bottling today. I was getting about three bubbles a minute out of the airlock. Now that I've moved it up to the table it seems to be bubbling quite regularily...

    haha ohhhhh I thought the airlock was just a glorfied shot glass whoops. Orfy you are truly wise beyond your years:D. I used Wyeast 3638 Bavarian Wheat Yeast.     Airlock troubles

    So I brewed a dunkelweizen yesterday and I filled my airlock with Vodka and placed it on my fermenter. When I came down and hour or so later I saw that the level in the airlock had lowered significantly, could vodka kill my yeast? PS. I am not getting any krausen thus far or even any burping...

    liquid yeast question

    I have a follow up question to this one. Lets say you are making a starter could you just use the 100 grams it takes to make a starter from the Dried malt bag for the recipe? I figure because its going to end up back in the Fermenter anyways?
