    Adding Cocoa to chocolate stout

    I have made a mocha stout and "dry hopped" on cocoa nibs and coffee beans during secondary. came out awesome!!! not bitter at all, only added a small amount of lactose at the end of the boil.

    More flavorful wheats

    if you want more flavor out of your wheat beers using yeast like wyeast #3944 Belgian Witbier, ferment it at the top of the temp range. the pepper and esters come across stronger.

    QUESTION - Stainless Steel tubing for Jockey Box

    I just built one a few months back, using 3/8" stainless. Probably the most difficult task I have taken on. I wrapped the tubing around my corny keg, but it didn't go easy. All said and done it worked out great and was worth it.

    My Hydrometer is floating in my carboy...

    I primary in a plastic bucket. But i drilled and added a spigot. So to check on my beer i remove the airlock and pull a sample. Much smaller chance for contamination.

    With your dip tube in your BK, is the siphon effect of the water or wort enough to pull all the fluid from below the ball valve? without the need of a pump?
