    Motorized Monster Mill Build

Bringing this post back to life. Thanks so much for this info, great research. I'm working on a project like this and am finding a bit of uncertainty about the output rpm of motors and the input of the reducer. All of the reducers I have found say max 1750 input. What is the story with the...

Went with a large enclosure. Suggestions?

From my experience having a door on a hinge was helpful during wiring. Might think about that as it appears your going to have to reengineer that door a fair amount. You are definitely upping the project ante with that box if you are into that sort of thing :D

What do you put your ekettles on?

A small wood or granite cutting board would work fine or you could just put it on a stove burner.

    Cheap chinese ebay stuff

I did the same thing but it was my fault. Fortunately the switches I used were the same for 24v or 120v, it's just the bulbs that are different. I still ended up with an entire extra set minus the bulbs. I still have 2 red switches left for sale here, you would still need to order a couple...

    Brew Table Design

I was going to build something, but then I discovered craigslist restaurant supply ads. 4', 6', 8' stainless steel commercial heavy duty prep tables all day long. Got my 6' one for $100 and done. Wouldn't do it different. Easy to clean, it holds way more weight than I will need and casters can...

    BK insulation?

Like what Walker said it's just something else to clean. In my keggle setup I found it totally unnecessary.

How is everyone here keeping hops and hot break from fermenter?

After many plate chiller incidents trying various whirlpool and pickup tube options I went with this and never looked back. Works fantastic. http://www.brewershardware.com/FILTER1.html

Colorado E Control Panel Parts -r ecept, plugs, switches etc.

Take advantage of my poor planning and design changes that have left me with piles of brand new parts. My brewery is up and running, this stuff is collecting dust. I will ship any of the below in USPS priority mail flat rate boxes and charge actual amount. Colorado area we can meet for a drop...

Can my theoretical control panel be used to to roast coffee?

You can add a smoker to that list too!

SSR, Contactor? both? help me K.I.S.S

Check out some hot tub wiring and how they use a contactor and controls. Same idea, it's just basically a RIMS for people. Yes use 3 way switches with BCS, it has been extremely handy in my system. IMO dont' stress about the momentary switch. Once you're at temp you aren't going to loose...

    Help BCS 462 wiring Schematic/Advice

Looks good. Another possible ground issue is the ground terminals on the bcs for the probes need to be connected to the overall ground loop too. Someone on the bcs forum helped me out with that, i was getting zig zag temp readings before hooking that up.

Can it all work on 50A?

Yes, I ran 2 - 50 amp 4 wire circuits from the main to my brew area, into 2 spa panels for GFCI then into my control panel. Similar to how you would wire a hot tub.

Can it all work on 50A?

I have 10k in both the hlt and the bk and I pair them up to one I/O of my BCS which would be the same as one pid for each kettle. With 10 gallon'ish batches you only need one in the BK for sure so it's a bit overkill, but in my case I can run all 4 elements at once and it's handy to have to heat...

Can it all work on 50A?

You can just use switches to do the same thing. There are lots of examples around here with a BCS with 3 way switches to have manual control, manual-off-BCS. All of this well said and would work with bcs too.

    List of PJ Electrical Diagrams

OK i took down any urls that link to all the images that you have published the same urls for all over this site. If you have put them on the internet ANYWHERE they can be easily found. I thought you put them up here for people to use? Why is it so bad to get the same diagrams all in one...
