    Dumped spices in Hefe in primary

    Is this ok? Doing a quick ferment on the Hefe, 10 days or so and then bottling. First time adding any seasonal spices and didn't know when to add, so just threw it in primary

    Soapy smell in secondary?

    There was a post here a while back about a soapy taste/smell on their brew and i cant seem to find the thread. The brew is about 3 weeks old, and all of a sudden has a soapy smell.....can anyone give advice or what happened?

    Hot south texas brewing...

    New user here, only one brew in. My main problem is the I live in south texas, and right now it isnt too bad, but when it gets warmer im worried about keep my ferms temp stable. We hit 105 degrees easily in the summer, any easy ways to keep the brew cooler without keeping my house at 70 degrees...
