Okay, I guess you should not use a space heater if you store newspaper in your fermentation chamber. I use one in my ferm chamber and the heater is never on for more than 30 seconds at a time to keep whatever is inside at 68°F.

What forming is needed? I have access to a cnc plasma but we dont have much in the way of forming tools.

I would think that if you put it in the fridge and used a small starter there should be more than enough yeast to make a 5 gallon batch.

I dont think that I saw BPA free on the bottom of it anywhere and it said #2. It also said something about being approved by somebody. I had to pick up a full fermenter to look so I didnt inspect it very well.
