    Thanks, I'll go back to the brown ale that I brewed on my first attempt. It was pretty tastey, but had a low percentage of alcohol. I'll try to make this one better by adding more sugars. Great Advice, seeing as the average temp here is in between the 70s and 80s. Thanks

    I'm having a similar problem. I think I have just too much water. Next time I'm going to try boiling a bit longer and using less water before cooling. Also, I'm going to switch to a premium yeas. I'm curious... Will the type of yeast used have any impact on the OG? Also, any opinions on mixing...
