    American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

    I'm gonna make this next weekend. Unfortunately my shop doesnt have any Vienna malt and I was wondering what the best substitution would be. If I was to use munich, would I use the same amount as vienna or scale it down as to retain the same color? Really looking forward to this one :)

    very thin oatmeal stout

    Heh, I brewed this 2 months ago and have the exact same thoughts about my brew. I did a partial mash and mashed the specialy grains plus some 2-row at about 153. I thought that the low mash temp combined with using extract was the reason for the light mouthfeel but now I'm not so sure anymore...

    Mixing beers = pleasant results. Anyone else?

    attempt at swamp cooler

    Is there a particular reason to use a t-shirt? The reason I ask is because I found a pretty heavy swetshirt - way to big for me - but it fits my bucket nicely and was thinking about using that with a fan for cooling.
