    How to remove bung from Oberon mini keg

    I noticed that whenever I do this it scratches the mini keg a bit and rust forms in the scratches, is this damaging to the beer at all?

    So I just opened a bottle of my most recent lager and there was a white powder halfway around the rim of the bottle where the cap sits. It wasn't inside the bottle at all and I've drank several bottles of this beer already and not seen this before. I've never had this on any beer I've brewed...

    Thanks for the advice. I'll have to make one of those blow off tube things, one question though does it replace the airlock, or is it an addition. I don't have the space for a bigger carboy which sucks, I would have a bigger carboy if I could.

    So my last brew was also the first one I have made a yeast starter for. It's also the first time the krausen has foamed up and out of the airlock and went everywhere.     New in MN

    Hey guys I started brewing a few months ago, when I got a kit for Christmas and I haven't stopped since, I've recently moved to all grain and partial mashes and look forward to making better beer, with some help from you guys of course.
