    Fermenting fridge or freezer

    Wine Fridge or freezer? If Wine fridge, I've read that it has a lower temp range of 45 then some say it's having a hard time going down 55ish, can anyone clarify this one. As for the freezer, Is there a thermostat built into one of this thing? TQTQ

    Cincinatti ale

    OK... Now the OG is 1.045 spot on and FG 1.020. It's a little high I know but it tasted great(evendo it's still a young beer) so that what matters! It's malty and man...the hops aroma is all over the apartment, and the bitterness is so balance I should say. I just racked it to 2ndary and...

    No more bubbling after 24hours???

    Ok I just brewed an ALE and after 1 day of crazy fermentation it just stop and then nada... No more bubbling on the airlock. I use 1 packet of 15g (5 gal recipe) coopers ale yeast and temperature kept @ 74-78 for fermentation. This an extract brew btw. I'm planning to wait for 4 days before...

    When should I move to AG?

    I'm gonna finish off the MR BEER stuff that the wife gave me for xmas then plan on moving to AG or am I taking it too fast?

    Where can i Import barley?

    I'd be going for long months of vacation in asia and so far the only available barley there is feed grade... Does anyone know where I can import barley?> Thanks!

    Feed grade barley?

    Is it ok to use feed grade barley for brewing? It's not that I like to but it's the only thing available where I'm going as far as barley is concern.
