    March Pump Bronze Replacement Head

dcbeerboy...I just had the same problem with mine, breaking the head in the same way. I swapped out to the bronze head, but just a heads up, my impeller post had to be changed out too, as well as the gasket. The brass head took a slightly larger gasket, and my post on the plastic head was a...

Back to back brewing, how well do you clean and sanitze?

I hate cleaning my equipment, so I almost always do back to back, or a triple brew day. Everything just gets sprayed out between brews.

    Want: Corny Kegs

I ordered a skid of kegs (25) from www.cornykeg.com last year (had no luck at all finding any locally). I would order from them again in a heartbeat.

What do you guys think of this recipe for a vienna lager?

Im just into the 2nd keg of Vienna lager I did back in the begining of Aug. I went 100% vienna for the malt, and all Czech Saaz for the hops. Fermented with WLP838 (German lager yeast). Actually, it's 'Brads Vienna Lager' recipe from here. Damn tasty. Its one that's going to be a house staple here.

    Apple/cherrywood smoked porter

I just carbed up 1l of the smoked porter I did about 2 wks ago. I smoked the entire grain bill over about a 70/30 mix of hickory and cherry, and smoked it for 1 hr. I think its pretty good right now, and it should only get better as it gets a bit of conditioning. The smoke isn't subtle, but its...

    Nearly perfect brew day

So, I decided I was going to brew this weekend. I did 3 batches today (Sunday), and did 2 yesterday (Sat). Saturdays session was a bit of a bear, just because I was running errands in the morning and got started about 3 hrs later than I had planned. But I still did 2x 8gal batches of Ginger...

Poll - How many kegs do you have?

Ive got about 22 I think. I started with half a dozen, tried to order more and couldn't find any for the life of me, so I ordered a skid of 25. Ive sold off a few, but I think Ive got about 22 or so left.
