Left in fermentor for over four months, still good?

Okay, so the Irish Pub Ale turned out awesome. I have brewed an American Cream Ale, American Wheat, and an American Pilsner since then. I guess I was feeling Patriotic. I will probably brew Honey Brown tomorrow evening. Good stuff!

I bottled the beer this weekend. It looked and tasted fine. I will post again when I crack it open in 3 weeks. :rockin:

Left in fermentor for over four months, still good?

I have a batch of Irish Pub Ale that has been sitting in my fermenter for about 4 months now. With the holidays and all of that stuff it kind of gotten pushed aside. Do you think it is still good or should I just dump it? It would be a shame to waste a kit. I am going to bottle it. (Kegs...

Sizing your Chest Freezer for Corny Kegs

I have a a freezer that I converted. I built a collar for it. I really like the collars because you are not cutting any holes in the freezer. You should be fine with a tower tap. There is nothing important in the lid you have to worry about cutting. Good luck.

    I'm having withdrawals...

We brewed 3 batches in about 5 days a couple weeks ago. I am getting the itch as well. We just started kegging and got caught with our pants down when 2 out of 3 kegs floated on us. Fortunately we had plenty of bottled brew. We never intend on that happening again. 4 more kegs were...

    hangovers-homebrew

My wife and I have both noticed that the hangovers with homebrew are no where near what they are with commercial beers. Homebrew has saved me many a headaches. Unless I mix some shots in then all bets are off. Homebrew > Commercial beer

can a keg be too full?

I have had this problem with the first keg that I did. I no longer fill it up past the CO2 tube in the tank. Just ensure that if beer got in your CO2 line you sanitize it. Good luck.

    Show us your Kegerator

The previous owners had to replace the thatch roofing every 2 years. WE just replaced it and we are going to tarp it in the winter months to try and extend the life of the roof. $660 every 2 years is kind of pricey. Thanks!

New beer lines in my kegerator - 3' too short?

This is what I do. 10' of beer line per keg and set it at 11-12 psi and I never had a problem as of yet. Thanks to the research I did on this message board.
