    custom printed growlers...

Hello All... I have a single color logo that I designed and want to have it printed to approx 24 amber 64oz growlers. Seems like all i can find are companies that print massive orders. Can anyone steer me towards a company that will do short orders for a reasonable price? Thanks!

heating element to maintain HLT temp

My temp controller is rated at 10amps and I'm thinking a heat stick would be safest since I'll need to use the high pressure burner to get quick temperature rise... With what I have going on, what size element should I use? I'm thinking 1000w would be safe and effective? For now I just want...

heating element to maintain HLT temp

I have a 50 amp breaker feeding my (detached) brewhouse and an upgrade is a major project. I have 2 refrigerators and an additional temp controlled refrigerator for fermenting on the panel. Do i have enough amperage left to run a large 240w element or stick with a 120w heat stick? I'm already...

Bad News Brewery, I will look into that. Another good idea. That's why I love this site! I'll look for build instructions before I post any repetitive questions on this thread. Cheers!

Thanks for the reply Grathan. I hadn't thought about heat melting element wires. Good call on that!

heating element to maintain HLT temp

Greetings all, I have a 10 (moving up to 15) gallon HERMS setup that is working quite well. Moving up to 15 gallons, I pretty much empty the HLT when I mash-in and have to refill / crank the gas burner under it to get back up to my desired temp before starting the HERMS pump. That was taking to...

What is the recommended length of time to leave dry hops in before kegging to get the most out of them? Is one week too short?

    Help

thanks guys.... just finishing the mashout and was breaking into cold sweats! I'll go with 15oz of table sugar in the boil. Curious though, what about Corn Syrup? I have some of that also, but it has vanilla in it. I'm trying to get the clone right on, otherwise i'd throw in whatever to see...

    new grower question...

Excellent! i kinda figured that but i wanted to check with some experienced growers first. Enjoy building the trellis! I hope to start construction this weekend as well. BTW, how far apart would you recommend planting each?

    new grower question...

Just ordered one Rhizome of each from MoreBeer.com: Cascade, Northern Brewer, Nugget, and Golding. I planned to secure two poles in the ground and hang pulleys from a cable that would be attached to the top of each pole. The pole system may change as needed, but my question is- will i have any...

    Too much hops or what??

I just made a "Beach Party Blonde Ale - all grain from a recipe found on BeerSmith. My LHBS did not have all the ingredients so i had to supplement. My taste test prior to pitching yeast was surprisingly odd. Taking a sip, there was an immediate sharp bitter taste on my tongue but after...

works for me! I did read a TON of threads suggesting leaving it in the primary the whole time, but that was after i racked it to the secondary. Next time it stays in. Thanks again for the replys!

    stuck at 1.014???

I brewed a Canadian Ale from a Brewer's Best extract kit...... Everything went together like clockwork, OG was 1.045. Sat in primary for one week, then put into a secondary at 1.018. One week later, approx 1.015 (closer to 1.016). Let it sit another week, I'm now at 1.014. The kit...
