I think of messed up on force carb? help please

Can you visible see the difference in the poppets? I know I've got the lines hooked up right, but this is a new keg and I have never used it before so it could be wrong.

I think of messed up on force carb? help please

I have a tower, but you can see the foam in the lines from the keg. My beer lines are 3/16 and I'm assuming my regulator is good. I used it for domestic kegs before kegging my one. This is my seconded attemp to keg. The first one was a bust also. At first everything was good, but I had the...

I think of messed up on force carb? help please

It's foamy on all pours, then once it settles down in a glass the beer has good flavor but flat. Could I have over carb it, and if so do I just take it off pressure for about a day to resolve. I checked the hose and they are correct. I also purged the tank several times. Thank for...

I think of messed up on force carb? help please

I'm knew to kegging and just messed up bid time I think. I force carb at 12psi for 10 days in the fridge at 40 degrees and now all I have is foam. I did not realize that you should let them set and forget at room temp. Is there a fix for this? Thanks 40 degrees 6 feet of 3/16 hose. Scott

American Amber Ale, still flat, help

I'll call NB today to see what they suggest on the sugar. My OG was 1.045. I have not checked it again. To repitch my yeast, I just sprinkled a little yeast in the same individual bottle, recapped and shook them a little. I have not poured out any beer yet. The beer has been in the same...

American Amber Ale, still flat, help

I tried to fix it on June 2, but I did not add priming sugar. I didn't even think about that. So if anything I made it worse. Can I just add the sugar this time around without the yeast, or should I go ahead and re-pitch it again. MajorTom you may be on to something now. That is the only...

American Amber Ale, still flat, help

This happened to the same batch. When I repitched the yeast it should have resolved my problem. The only thing I know to do is recap them again, but use a different type of cap. Thanks for all the help on my strange problem..

American Amber Ale, still flat, help

I'm using Star San and for the capper, I'm using the Red Baron capper. I've never had a problem with either of them, but that is possible.

American Amber Ale, still flat, help

It's a 5 gallon batch and the sugar was dissolved and then added to the bottom of the bottle bucket. The bottles are the ones that you buy from home brew stores and the caps are just plain ole caps that came with the kits. At this point the only thing that makes since is the caps are leaking...

American Amber Ale, still flat, help

I bottled NB American Amber Ale on April 11. The beer was then bottled with the priming suger on April 30. June 1st I tried the beer and it was flat. The beer had good flavor but no carbonation at all. I called NB and they said to repitch the yeast so I did on June 2. Today I cracked open...

My keg went flat, can I re-carbonate

Sorry, I guess I should have stated how I carboniated the beer to start with. I put 12psi of pressure on the keg and let is sit for about about 10 days. Now I have it at 30 psi. Do I need to change this?

Good deal. Maybe this is a good time to try force carbonation.

Thanks for the post. Do I need to do anything different since it's only half full?

My keg went flat, can I re-carbonate

I had my beer perfect in the keg, but my temp was way to low and it froze. By the time I got everything back to normal the beer was flat, not sure why but o'well. Can I just bump up the pressure, let it set a couple of days to get the carbonation back? The keg is only about half full. Thanks...

    Nothing but foam.

The only thing that changed was the distance to the tap. I raised the cooler up about 8" so less line would be exposed to the warmer air, but I left the line the same length inside the cooler. I'll try to purge the system and see what happens.

    Nothing but foam.

I've got a keg that was working fine, but then I had to move it and redo the tap. Now all I'm getting is foam. I moved the keg smoothly trying not to shake it up, but I've had nothing but foam for the past 6 hours. I'm running 12PSI. Any ideas.. thanks Scott
