Pressure difference in two kegs on same regulator

Thanks for the suggestions--I think tonight I'll try taking the flat one off the gas to see if it can hold its pressure for a few days. The kegs are both in the same fridge, so temp. shouldn't be an issue. It's probably unrelated, but in the interest of full disclosure: When I kegged the...

Pressure difference in two kegs on same regulator

It's just a single gauge regulator--the split to the two kegs is in the gas line only. The weird thing is that the beer still flows fine from both taps--it's just gotten really flat out of one of them. I can still purge out the CO2 from the flat one and hear it refill, so there's gas flowing...

Pressure difference in two kegs on same regulator

So, this seems physically impossible, but it's been going on long enough that I figured I'd ask for some help. I have two corny kegs hooked up to the same CO2 tank, but one of the beers is really carbonated and the other one seems to be getting flatter and flatter. They have both been hooked...

    Should I lager or not?

So for a total beginner here, is it correct to sum up and say that if your kit comes with "Lager" yeast, then you should ferment at a low temp, and if it comes with "Ale" yeast you should ferment at normal temps? Presumably you just follow the directions that come with it, but I haven't found a...

FAQ: Aluminum Pots for Boil Kettles?

What about anodized aluminum? I've looked it up a little bit, and the anodization is supposed to thicken the oxidized layer, which should be good, right? I'm hoping to use a Calphalon stockpot we already own (an underused gift, seeing as we don't make stock or huge pots of soup), rather than...

Minimum Pot Size for Extract Brewing?

I've looked through a lot of threads already, so I apologize if this has been discussed already (actually, I'm sure it must have been, but I can't find it). I have a 12 qt. stock pot at home that we almost never use for anything, and I was wondering if this could possibly be just big enough...

Frigidaire Model FRC445GB Mini-Fridge Kegerator Conversion

Thanks for the advice! I'll have to pass on the "great wife" comment. :) I'm going to appreciate the kegerator as much as he is, though, so it's sort of a gift to myself as well... I call that gifting success!

Frigidaire Model FRC445GB Mini-Fridge Kegerator Conversion

Hi all! This forum has been amazingly informative--thanks so much for posting all of the info and pictures! I read this entire thread beginning to end, and was so excited when I got to page 7 or so and learned that you could convert this model with a tower on the top. I was thinking I would...
