    WTB : Amarillo Hops

Hey there, my gf actually lives in the Cleveland area and we were just at J.W. Dover last weekend and he said they were totally out of Amarillo with no idea when they might getting more in. Some of the homebrew stores around me still have them but they wont sell in bulk and buying an ounce at a...

    WTB : Amarillo Hops

It seems like these are getting harder and harder to get. If anyone knows of a supplier for bulk or has some they want to sell, let me know. I am probably looking for at least 2 pounds.

    American IPA All Amarillo IPA

I have brewed my own version of this a few times and loved it. I am a big fan of Amarillo hops but they are becoming near impossible to find. If anyone has an over stock of them and wants to sell some or knows of where I could get a couple pounds of them, drop me a note.

Hows this for a Pumpkin ale?

I just tried my hand at a pumpkin ale also. I was shooting for something along the lines of Southern Tier's Pumking. ]https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f12/southern-tier-pumking-clone-191381/index16.html[/URL] There are some pretty good ideas throughout that thread for pumpkin ales.

    Different bottle styles???

Yea, the 750ml bottles were along the lines I was thinking but I don't want to deal with corking and caging them. Does anyone know where you can find a Belgian styled bottle that is cappable (is that even a word? lol) ??

About to start kegging - debating 2 tap kegerator vs 3 tap keezer

If nothing else, don't skimp and get the cheap faucets. Just spend the extra money from the start and go with Perlicks. You won't regret it!

    Different bottle styles???

I know there are flip-tops and caps but I was wondering if anyone has come across a place to purchase out of the ordinary bottles for homebrewing. Maybe something outside of the standard size and/or shape. I would like to find something maybe a little unique to put some seasonal recipes in. I am...

Finally Tried Dogfish Head Punkin Ale!

I agree with EllisTX, alot of hype about this beer and althought it was alright...not exactly what I was expecting. I would opt for the Southern Tier Pumking Ale over this when looking for a pumpkin beer.

    Southern Tier Pumking

I had gone to a local bottle shop for their tasting of the seasonal pumpkin beers and was not very pleased with any of them. Not that they were bad, but I was expecting pumpkin pie in liquid form and none came close to that. Then I came across the Southern Tier Pumking ale and figured why not...

    Southern Tier Pumking Clone??

I just had this over the weekend and had to take a stab at it. To me, this was as close to Pumkin pie in liquid form as it gets. I put this little recipe together and brewed it up last night. It's already chugging away in the fermenter. After double thinking it, I may have gone waaay too heavy...

help with first all grain system, what are my options

Getting your "system" together is really a pretty simple and not too expensive process. It's all the little bells and whistles that make it more user friendly and slowly hike up costs and complication. But who here doesn't like to buy new brew gear? haha You have the option of just dropping...

    Equipment upgrade

There are definatley many directions you could go. I know in my case, the only thing limiting the amount of brew toys I buy is my wallet. A bigger ticket item you might want to consider is kegging or stepping up to all-grain, seeing how you already have a mill.
