Just bottled my Oktoberfest after 2 months lagering. Lagered at about 38F. What temp should I bottle condition at? For the last week before bottling I accidentaly left the fridge door cracked open so it was at 55-60F in the secondary when I bottled it today. Thanks all.
Hmm apfelweisen sounds like something I need to try. So far I have added priming sugar to the keg so it can naturally carbonate while its aging.... thanks all
Hey all. I know a few people who keg and they are always saying its great because the beer is ready to drink so much faster. Wouldent you still have to let it "age" in the bottle to round out the flavor? Ive had some problems with "green" tasting beer and it seems like it takes a good 2-3...

Any homebrewers in Salt Lake City, Utah? I am just getting into it, 7 batches so far, and just finished my first partial mash. Just wondering if anyone around would like to trade, critique, taste, etc.. :mug:
I was in exactly the same spot. Wanted to do all grain but didnt have time to get ghetto fabulous with my cooler. So I used a large nylon grain bag for my first all grain (local home brew store, LHBS, $4.95). I also just used the siphon to transfer into my brew pot. All in all it went well...
