    CO2 Refill - Boulder Colorado

There's an Airgas off of 30th south of Valmont - behind where Tire Source used to be. EDIT: if they won't refill then Wagner Welding Supply in Longmont certainly will.

    Skeeter Pee Expirement

One thing that we've tried is crushing some mint leaves in a glass prior to adding regular SP. I really can't recommend it enough - it's awesome.

    Gabf 2012

One of the jobs we have is preventing the drunk people from sliding down the railings at the end of the night. So yeah, it's kinda dangerous. :)

    Gabf 2012

I'll be on the safety team Thursday night and attending the Saturday members session. Can't wait!

    Co2 Regulators (What to buy)

I also started out with just a single regulator and judicious use of metal T's and hose clamps. Just installed my secondaries and couldn't be happier.

    Co2 Regulators (What to buy)

You would attach your current primary regulator to the CO2 tank, then run a gas line from the primary output to the secondary input. You could even have your CO2 outside of your kegerator that way if you needed the space.

    Co2 Regulators (What to buy)

So, for about the same price as the one you linked, you could get a three regulator secondary, and have three different pressures.

    Making Sparkling Water

KevinM - you are thinking of using epoxy mixers in the liquid dip tube. Specifically, these. I just installed my three-way secondary regulators over the weekend and have my first keg of H2O carbing. Can't wait.

    CO Breweries & Corny Kegs

Yes, many CO breweries will fill cornies. It usually takes them a day to do it, but it shouldn't be an issue. Just call and ask. Also, you typically can only find 90 Shilling or Easy Street in a sanky keg. Believe me, if I could find St. Lupulin in a keg, I'd be all over it.

Computer Fan In Kegerator (not for tower)?

I've got the standard computer fan wired to a cell phone charger setup. It just sits on my compressor hump and blows horizontally. Not sure if that's the best way to do it, but it cured my foaming issues easily enough. I'll probably end up gluing magnets to two sides of it so it can just...

Flipping the high pressure input side

That's exactly what I was referring to, thanks.

Flipping the high pressure input side

So, the high pressure side of the regulator is all along the back side of it. The left side is where you would attach additional regulators or a pressure gauge. Think of it like this: on a primary regulator could you swap your high pressure gauge and your CO2 input?

Flipping the high pressure input side

Pretty sure I know the answer to this, but just for a sanity check: can you flip the high pressure input on a secondary regulator? Currently, it's on the right side of the regulator, as is common, but my CO2 tank is to the left. Rather than run a hose up and around, I'd like to just unscrew...

How many gallons of Homebrew in 2012?

    15872 + 5 G California Common + 5 G Apfelwein = 15882

    Taprite secondary regulator

Some do and some don't. If you happen to know the specific model, you can check http://www.taprite.com/pdfs/beer/Secondary_Beer_Regulators_SS.pdf. Otherwise, just unscrew one of the shut off valves and try to blow back through it.

    Reusable/One use kegs

Here we go, from their FAQ: "Can I get just one for my homebrew? We’d love to send you just one or two PubKegs, but we don’t want to mislead you. Here at PubKeg, we have created what we feel is the best one-way keg out there. That being said, because it is a one-way keg, it probably...

    Reusable/One use kegs

Saw these at GABF and asked the guy manning the booth about homebrew. I can't remember the specific reason (probably on beer sample #40 by that point), but there was some deal breaker, like a seal that you'd have to break to fill them unless you used special equipment maybe?

    Keg Post Question

No, they are quite different. A Gas QD will not fit on a liquid post and vice versa. That's not to say you couldn't just swap all of your gas posts with liquid posts and just have one type - but you certainly risk connecting the wrong line to the wrong post.

60 min. full boil Malt Extract vs. late addition Malt Extract - What Say You?

I'm just about to keg a California Common, and I did a 100% late addition. Only hops (well, plus the liquid from the steeping grains) during most of the boil. I think I added all of my LME at about 10min before flameout.

Do your under age kids drink w/you at home?

I was allowed to drink as a kid (special occasions / sips of beer or wine / etc), and got the "call us if you are drunk at a party and we'll pick you up" speech. I feel that a direct result of these policies is the fact that I was never tempted to get in a situation where I would have to drive...
