    Original recipe i used Polaris, way back when I got a1 lb bag of challenger, in the spirit of using up aging stock I used the challenger, it works well for bittering, Mozsic goes in at flame out, citra ( 2 ounce) dry hop

    I'm a planner,i plan at least 3 brews ahead,write down recipes before I brew, keep a stock list of grain hops and yeast, I'd be horrified to start the day not knowing what I was going to brew- you guys have got bigger stones than me!

    What I did for beer today

    Took inventory of my yeast and hops. Threw out anything opened and expired. Drew trub from last week's brew. Set up water profile for Tomorrow's brew - milled 11 lbs of grain for a pale Czech lager. Wrote out the recipe- time for a home brew!

    Feeler gaugers, I measured. 045,..040,.037,.035,.032 and marked each setting so I don't have to remove the hopper each time I change a setting .

    The geard mill is excellentl, it's far superior to the non geared version- but to each their own, I mill barley @ .040 and wheat and rye at .035- never an issue.
