I’ve had spiders in my car wing mirrors for years but now they’re in the car. But I like spiders and thank goodness they are small and not poisonous in the UK.

I’ve got some around my Corny kegs but a clever spider built its web and is happily eating them.

Today I kegged my Butty Bach clone 19 litres at 4.3%. I’ll give it 3 weeks to carbonate and condition.

Harlequin is a great hop.

AA I use 100% Fuggles when making 5 Points Best that’s 100g in 19 litres and it’s a great beer.

If you can’t get Bramling then use East Kent Golding.

Nottingham will give you a good beer or look at WHC dry yeasts like Bond or Old English.

Today I brewed 19 litres of Butty Bach (Little Friend in Welsh) Clone 3400g Maris Otter 200g Flaked Barley 200g Torrefied Wheat 100g Extra light crystal Hops EKG, Fuggles and Bramling X Nottingham yeast

As not an expert on mild the last one I drank I was 16 and now I’m 73 but it was a drink you could not get drunk on even a 16. It got a bad reputation which was deserved for a beer that slops from the drink tray and beer left on tables got poured into including cigarettes ash. Cheers.
