    2 tap tower

Made some beer labels to attach to the faucet handles. I plan on just using 3m wall hanging strips so I can change them around as needed. To make some of these I split a copper pipe I had laying around and the flattened it with a hammer, 3 of them I bought some bracelet blanks off of etsy. I...

    2 tap tower

I spray painted all the piece separately with the threads taped off. When I assembled it, I just hand tightened all of the pieces and then used a rubber mallet to tighten the elbows until they were lined up correctly. The shanks I used were just some 4 inch ones I had laying around, there was...

    2 tap tower

Not sure since I've never actually seen a glycol setup in person, but I would imagine there would be room since those are 2" diameter pipes. However, I'm just planning on insulating the lines

    2 tap tower

Almost finished up with a 2 tap tower made with 2" galvanized pipe. About $30 worth of fittings and I already had the faucets and handles from another tap box. I spray painted the pipe with some antique bronze paint, but it just looks black from more than an inch away :)

    Anyone tried AHS Smithwicks clone?

Just wondering because after putting their recipe into Beersmith I get an IBU of 42.7 and an SRM of 8.9. This IBU is way outside of the BJCP standard and from the info I can find online, Smithwicks has an IBU of close to 20. Also the recipe only has 2-row, 90L and 60L crystal. I would think...

Irish Stout Ode To Arthur, Irish Stout (Guinness Clone)

So, just finishing up my last keg of this stout, just thought I would add a comment for the others like me that don't have a stout tap or nitro available. I'm not sure where I heard this orginally, probably on a forum somewhere, but to get that creamy head I fill the pint glass about 1/2 to 3/4...

    How to WHITEN my beer?

They do make white food coloring but it'll probably never get any whiter than a caramel cream color and you would probably have to add a ton just to get it to that. I think it would be worth it to try on a couple test glasses of beer.
