Wow, a lot has changed since my last post. - First time father (future brew hand). - Graduated from BBS kits to the Brewzilla Gen4 35L system. - I recently purchased kegging equipment (not a fan of bottling). - I have successfully sourced my own ingredients and brewed a delicious Hazy IPA. - I...

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

Bottled the Stout. uKeg’d the IPA. These were my last two batches with the BBS one gallon kits. Today, I purchased the Brewzilla Gen 4 35L and all the goodies that go with it. I’m excited to step into the next chapter of my brewing career and start creating my own recipes. I’ll start with the...

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

I’m assuming it’s to keep track of those brewing higher ABV and selling the product without the proper licenses. How they would know? I’m not sure. The permit just allows me to brew 200 gallons of home brew for my own consumption per year, but I’ll be giving away gifts to friends and family to...

    1-Gallon Brewers UNITE!

Brewed two kits from BBS this weekend (Cashmere Single Hop IPA/Breaskfast Stout). Air locks go in this evening, then patiently waiting for bottling day. I am going to bottle the IPA and force carbonate the Stout in my uKeg to see how that works out. Afterwards, I plan on doing my own recipes...

It’s the kit from Brooklyn Brew Shop (Jalapeño Saison). It was a cool learning experience. All grain, adding ingredients at specific time points in the boil. I look forward to the next round and adding my own twists and flavors eventually. I’m glad I bought the INKBIRD. It’s been helpful with...

It’s been awhile. A lot of life changes since I last posted. What’s crazy is my first post on this site, is close to my first child’s birth. Crazy. Well I finally had an official brew day. I enjoyed the process and look forward to brewing more recipes. Here are a few photos from the day.

Edit: I meant to say, I intended to speed up the carbonation process by force carbonating with my uKeg.

Siyo. I purchased the Brooklyn Brew Shop kit yesterday, it should be here next week. I’ve never home brewed, but I look forward to the challenge. I plan to speed up the fermentation process by racking into my uKeg 128. According to BBS site, it’s take 2 days instead of 10-14. Guess we’ll see...
