OK, I lie, I didn't bottle, I Boxed. Is that tacky? I bought empty wine boxes and bags online. They were the cute 3 liter ones though, not the chuggin wine 5 liter boxes you see from Franzia and ilk. What do you think? Tacky or No? BTW, this is uber refrigerator freindly :)

Well, it is done. I can report back that the wine smells great, looks fantastic and tastes like crap. It is not HORRIBLE, but is nowhere near the quality of the bing cherry apfelwein I made earlier.

#4 is my choice, plus out of sight = out of mind. That's a good thing with your first few brews.

Thanks! The cherry presence is very faint, but definitely there. I gave my neighbor a glass and she thought it tasted like unsweetened red grapes, after a few glasses, I agree.

Very dry, if your SWMBO likes chardeney, she will like this. It really needs to condition though, is a tad too hot for wifee, although I like it :drunk:
