    Keezer Help

I’d like to follow up and thank those that provided guidance and to close the issue for any future readers. Knock on wood, but I’ve had several weeks of success and new kegs added with zero issues. I really threw the kitchen sink at the problem so unclear on exactly what resolved my issues (bad...

RO Water, Imperial Stout, Bru’n Water

Make sense. Problem is that I can’t seem to put enough of anything in to get the PH in the correct range. The second I put any other minerals in to meet my other numbers, then the PH starts going even further south.

RO Water, Imperial Stout, Bru’n Water

Howdy All Looking to brew my first Imperial Stout. Struggling with the water-side of things. I can’t seam to get the PH in the right range. I can enter a ton of pickling lime and/or Baking Soda. I’ll get Bicarbonate in the right range, but the best I can seem to get for PH is 5.2ish. And...

    Question for Hop Spider Users

Funny I was thinking the same a bit back. I ended up changing my process. I have one bag for the boil hops. I then swap to a new bag towards the end of the boil, then toss in the whirlpool hops. Sorry no results to report yet as I just made the change and that beer is not on tap yet.

Tilt hydrometer in a SS Brew Bucket

Odd. I have both the Brewbucket and a Flex+. Both sit in a freezer. With my phone lying on top of the freezer I get solid readings on both. No repeater. I wonder if tilt has some quality control issues. Love mine.

    Keezer Help

Ok. I’ve purchased 2, 12 foot lines and installed. The beer is better, but I still get some bubbles dancing on my tongue. I’m going to assess over the next few days and report back.

    Keezer Help

Make sense. Should I increase the temp until the poured beer comes in at 40?

    Keezer Help

I was interested in making that switch. I do indeed pour out a few once’s every time. You’re right none of the stores near me carry it. On the other hand I don’t know if the line length or type is my issue yet. I’ll grab the 12 foot today to try. And order the new lines as well. Any thoughts of...

    Keezer Help

Thanks all for the replies. 1. The temperature is definitely 40. After suspecting that very issue, I installed a fan and attached the prob to a tall boy with bubble wrap that sits on the hump. I’ve measured multiple times over multiple days with multiple devices. 40 every time. Odd, while...

    Keezer Help

I should note, that I did add a fan and attached the probe to a a tall boy with bubble wrap. All readings have come out at exactly 40 degrees with multiple devices.

    Keezer Help

I’m having an over carbonation issue with my keezer. I could write a novel with the challenges over the last year. But I’ll skip it, and just jump to the facts. I would really appreciate some assistance on where to go from here. I built a straightforward keezer a little over a year ago. It’s a...
