    Spike Solo Brewery Build

Mainly due to wanting to try building it myself for fun. I could not use spikes panel because they require a 3 wire 240v input (hot hot neutral ground). My shop has an old school 2 wire 240v circuit ( hot hot ground). I built the panel to accommodate the 2 wire 240v input for the element and a...

    Spike Solo Brewery Build

Kettle stand complete! No more carrying the pot to sink for clean outs will be so nice. Next up mounting the pump and chiller to bottom shelf. Slapped on a bottle opener for the brew day beers 😉

    Spike Solo Brewery Build

I like the steam lid from Spike but I know it used a bunch more water than the slayer (from what I've read). Only negative to the slayer is making a hole to mount it. Spikes lid would be nice and matchy matchy on the upside :) I do have a water supply so weighing the costs of either condensate...

    Spike Solo Brewery Build

I'm glad to hear even more great feedback from Spike. I did have an issue as well. My first kettle had a small dent and they sent me a new one within a week. Excellent service! Ryan is awesome and helped me with my custom order. Finally got the cables for my panel and had a successful test...

    Spike Solo Brewery Build

After taking a year off from brewing I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! Coming from using gas in my garage I moved into a house that has an awesome indoor shop in the basement. Obviously I just had to take the leap into going electric. Finally ran the 240v and getting excited...

    Oregon Oregon City Home Brewers

Thank kcinpdx! Curious if any of you have put together a water profile for OC. The information on the water report is a little basic.

Old thread but thought Id reach out. I'm in the OC area and been brewing All Grain for 2 years. Just moved here and currently building an electric rig. Would love to make some local home brew buddies to chat and exchange with.

    Brewing Panel Question

I think I just realized that per the drawing, my PID will not receive 120v unless the Emergency button is pushed in...

    Brewing Panel Question

The big question I had on this design change is having the separate 240v HHG source and the separate 120v HNG source, will it work? I can install a 30 amp GFCI for the 240v circuit if needed but not sure if it will work since I don’t have the N. I’m basically trying to recreate the SS brew tech...

    Brewing Panel Question

    Brewing Panel Question

I’d love if someone could review my drawing for a BIAB panel I’d like to build. It’s modeled after the electric brew supply drawing but adjusted to account for a 3 wire 240v inlet and a separate 120v inlet. Let me know what y’all think!
