Two single CO2 Regulators converting to a double.

I have had a hell of a time finding the right threaded nipple for this same project. I think my regulators would require 1/4" left-handed threads on both sides. Please post a link here if you find one.

    beerthirty makes a porno

The rig was sold and brought down to Tucson. It is currently for sale from the new owner. I guess they bit off more than they could chew with its complexity. I have their contact info if someone is looking to buy it.

Electric Brewing - Scorched Wort Issues

+ 1 knapp. Unfortunately, I just had this same problem which led me to a search that found this thread. I have made several great batches with my setup but the last brewday made some gross burned beers and I noticed after brewing that day that my element was covered with burned protein. :-(...

Help me open this keg!! "a" system euro

Holy Crap! the one that I have does not have a catch. I was looking for something that didn't exist. The problem with mine was the bottom of the large diameter piece that hold the dip tube had a bent flange that was catching the lip of the keg by probably 1/32". I got all ready to rip it out...

Help me open this keg!! "a" system euro

I have been trying for days to remove the stem and seal on this damn thing. It is kind of like a "S" system but has a wide flat lip on the top. I have the thing unscrewed but can't find the safety catch to save my life. Anyone ever dealt with one of these?

    Heating Options for Fermentation Fridge

I use a ceramic reptile heater that screws in to a heat lamp socket. This works great. The issue I see with a hair dryer even if it is temperature controlled is how powerful it is. You can get various heaters anywhere from 50 watts up to 300 watts.

    Selling polysulfone quick disconnects

I am thinking about a brewery upgrade and but need to sell my current QDs in order for me to justify my next purchase. So... I have about 12 sets of polysulfone quick disconnects. These QDs are a popular style for homebrewing. They are rated for 280 degrees, and are 1/2" barbed on one side...

Using a PID to control a pump in a HERMS setup? A no-no?

"I was told however that I can't do this as a PID would try and cycle the pump on/off too much which isn't good for the pump." One of the whole points of a HERMS is to recirculate the wort the entire time of conversion (except maybe at protein rest) to achieve superior clarity of wort.
