The other time I would run into this is if I was doing a smaller batch and needed to keep my herms coil covered. I havnt figured out on beersmith how to get it to calculate the brew salt additions for the unused water if treating the sparge water. And that would be a waste of salts

I've always added my brewing salts to my strike water and hlt and sparged with the treated water. I use ro water and was wondering if anyone sparged with straight ro water that's ph adjusted and if they noticed anything negative from adding the salts to the boil kettle vs the sparge water?

If I try it I'm not sure what to do with the extra port... either cap or put another 1.5 butterfly

Has anyone tried attaching there conical sample valve to there 1.5 butterfly with wracking arm so your last gravity reading flushes the remaining yeast out of the wracking arm before pressure transfer?

If I wanted to connect the spray nozzle to my city water connection instead of the pump how many psi do you reccomend I supply to the spray nozzle for optimum efficiency?

How much water does it use in an hour? Can you run a pump in a bucket and just recirculate the same liquid? Or does it need to be hooked to cold high pressure water?

On the ss brewtech unitanks it looks like the 1.5 Tc ferrules are not the full 1.5 opening size , that make cleaning harder? I currently have a cf15 and they are the full 1.5 and pretty easy to clean by adding 6 gal of pbw and doing a cip

Thanks for the feedback! I plan on buying a 1.5 Tc hose for the pump feed and a 1 inch tc for discharge. Would u have any recommendations for a pump more suited for the higher psi? Or should I just go with the atm pump? (The pump in the pic is way to low of pressure)
