Need Ideas For an HLT Stirrer.

@Jtvann Are you using a HERMS in your HLT? If so, you need to verify the Temp is the almost the same in all the water volume (no a big variation between the bottom and top volume) to have a proper heat transfer to the wort or water inside the HERMS coil

Need Ideas For an HLT Stirrer.

Do you want to agitate the HOT water in your HLT to avoid temperature stratification? Maybe you can use the follwoing, but not sure it will stand for High Temp. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UA7NQR2/?coliid=I1BCLDRIL7LWWR&colid=2LDS2G1HWWZ7S&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

HERMS coil used as immersion chiller

@NoCornOrRice and @Noob_Brewer Thank you both for the comments and ideas. My CFCC is an SS Chiller from Northern Brewer and I normally run 6 gallons per batch I ran the tap water and it was at 80F because of sunny and hot summer in TX that week, but also I found the water flow was restricted...

HERMS coil used as immersion chiller

Just another crazy idea... My cooling process is as follows. I pump the hot wort to the Counterflow Coil with tap water. But the "pre-cooled" wort is returning to the BK. After having a lower temp around 100F, then I start the whirlpool. Form this point, I switch the water lines to ice-cold...

    Show me your Grant build

A really good option to avoid buying things in different online stores is to select this level control kit https://www.filltronics.com/product/tiny-pump-controller-v2-case-and-hardware You will need to add the 12VDC power supply as the one mentioned above by @RocketBrewer and the 2 level...

Please help me figure out my 240v plans

This is the extension cord with GFCI I bought at a really great price (lower than the ones you mentioned). It did include 100' of cable. The only con was the lead time (they are offering 9 days now, but in my case it said 16 days and took 1 month)...

    Brewjacket for Spike CF

Has someone tried the option to use the Brewjacket on a Spike CF? I know it is possible on the SS Brewtech and Blichmann fermentor because of the flat lid, but maybe modifying the 4" Cap with a hole for the #10 drilled bung could be a possible solution. I know the TC100 from spike is cheaper...

No hose change on 3V2P- P&ID review

That is totally right. Automation is also a third phase for this project, but only after increasing my brewing capacity to 30 gal.

No hose change on 3V2P- P&ID review

He fellow brewers The 1/2" pipe and fittings are in SS 304, and 316 Hoses are Silicon High temp and thick wall. One factor I included in this design is to keep the possibility to disassemble it for cleaning and maintenance. The idea to replace the hoses using SS tubing and compression fitting...

No hose change on 3V2P- P&ID review

I will use a close circuit for the cip running the cleaning solution all around. One advantage of this 3 way valves is I bought T port instead of L port, so I can select one particular position to run all the line Under the HLT I have an induction cooktop. Will modify to Electric heater...

No hose change on 3V2P- P&ID review

Great. I already started with mine. I bought some DERNORD valves in Amazon (T Port instead of L port) for $20 each. Also found a good fitting provider here in California with really good prices (www.proflow-dynamics.com)
