    Converting Extract Recipe to All Grain

    Folks, when converting extract recipes to all grain recipes how does one go about getting the impact the grain has equal the impact the extract has? Meaning if it calls for 4 lbs of Light DME would you use 2 Row at x lbs? Is there a standard conversion?

    3 piece airlock

    OK, stupid question. I have always used a triple ripple airlock for my primary and just got a new bucket and 3 piece airlock setup. Am I supposed to put water in the 3 piece like I did the triple ripple? If so, how high do you fill it up? Thanks
