    New BIAB rig

Recently bought this BIAB set up after doing plenty of research to find something that would be a good fit for my existing garage circuitry and batch sizes. High Gravity, Dave Knott, was a big help in choosing this system. I moved from induction burner to a 10gal 240v Blichmann G2 kettle...

A GFCI solution for existing non GFCI

I brew in the garage and have a 240v 20amp table saw circuit. I had been using a induction burner, but making a switch to a Blichmann 10 gal 240v electric kettle and their Brew Commander controller. I thought I'd have to get the electrician in to upgrade my circuit until I found these inline...

    Will 240v 30amp controller work on 240v 20amp circuit?

Right now I'm using a 240v induction burner for my BIAB, because it is compatible with my 20amp 240v table saw outlet in the garage. Uses a Nema 6-20 plug. So curious if I wanted to go with say a 3750w boil coil, would a 30amp controller work by just changing the L 6-30 plug to a 6-20p?

First no sparge batch using BIAB

I moved from the gas range in kitchen to an induction unit in the garage to cut down on lifting and moving kettle with hot wort. Yesterday was my first batch and I tried a full volume no sparge BIAB batch, since I'd installed a pulley. Truthfully, I figured my efficiency would be poor...

FERMENTATION HEATER ON MY BREW BUCKET

My mini fridge is in my garage and has worked great since I got it in the spring along with my inkbird. However, I didn't know how well it would work in fall and winter temps, and as it started getting colder the temps in my fermenter were dipping too low for ales, and I was getting concerned...

    Anyone using induction cooktop?

I'd like to move my BIAB from the gas range in the kitchen into the garage when I'm brewing 5+ gallon batches. Been looking at 3500w induction cooktop as I already have the circuit there for my table saw. Plus I could mount a pulley to drain the bag. It would be a lot less than having to...
