    corny as fermenter

    One thing I'm not clear on regarding using a cornie for primary, is temperature control. For lagers I see simply filling it up and tossing it in the kegerator... for ales, is it that simple? Do the stainless walls of the cornie hold in the heat more than plastic causing a higher fermentaion...

    The kegs are double walled (right?) so my thinking was that the temp on the strip would not accurately reflect what's going on inside the keg. :confused:

    Excellent info, but one thing that I haven't seen discussed is how do you know what your fermentation temp is. I'm used to fermenting in plastic with the strip thermometer on the side. How do you guys tell?? I really appreciate the feed back! :rockin:
