    OK sorry, now I'm confused. What would that look like if, for example, I rack to the keg from the Primary at approx. 70F? (Assuming 70F was the highest temp the beer saw during fermentation). Just looking for how many psi to carb to in this situation before putting it on Nitro. Thanks again.

    Well I just had to bump this thread. I ordered a carbonation (diffusion) stone today and will try it on my next batch. I'm not going to do all the flipping and gauges, I'm pretty frugal so it's the stone and 2' of hose being attached to the gas in tube. We'll see how it does.

    Yeah I do some primary only and some secondary. In this case, I think I mentioned above but I needed the bucket and I wanted to harvest the yeast. Which may have been a bad idea now that I think I have an infection, haha. But I had a couple of the stouts last night, and so far it tastes great!

    Thanks! That makes me feel much better about this. I do clean with PBW and use StarSan, so I'm scratching my head as to where the infection came from...but my plastic fermenter is pretty old and has some scratches, I'll probably just get a new one. Thanks again.

    Thanks for the insight. I guess I"m just trying to weigh out tossing a 5 gallon batch of good Irish Stout (assuming it will smell/taste okay) vs. possibly contaminating a keg. I can bottle and may do that, but I'd love to keg it...I just got a nitro tap. And wondering if a bleach soak will kill...
