    Yes the recipes I've found don't seem too confident. And yes, looking at recipes for a traditional Bock I knew this beer couldn't even be close (I've only tried real Bock several times...) When you say "single bittering addition" do you mean like one unit/amount of hops for the entire boil...

    OK so the other question is, from which being do you obtain said blood? The brewmeister, his spouse, his pet, or his meal?.... You want blood beer? Drink some Freaktoberfest by Shmaltz. Find out what's in that beer to make it blood red (good luck!) and I think you'll be quite satisfied...
