So I'm brand new to brewing I 've done a total of 2 batches 1 I've been drinking (coopers Lager) and turned out great!!! The other (Coopers Real Ale) is still in the FV. But the couple people I know that brew are already asking or telling me you need to do all grain...now I've had all grain...

I slightly cracked the lid and took a whiff it smells like sweet beer maybe with a hint of like cider or something like fermenting wine

About the only way to get a better pic is to take the lid off and I'm hesitant to do that due to introducing oxygen also thanks for the reply

Are the 3 white spots in the picture an infection now keep in mind picture was taken through coopers diy kit FV so thats the reason for the white haze.
