Fermentis (US-05) for Ales and Fermentis 34/70 for lagers. I've haven't used my stir plates and liquid yeast in years

I store my kegs in my basement all the time. I even carb them at basement temps (60-65F). It's ok.... A keg is just a large bottle

There is definitely more variety of liquid yeast. Having said that, its been years since I've used my stir plates. Dry yeast is just so convenient and readily available.

Check with your power company about who can make the connections for the "mast". Back in the day they would let us do it, but most states and power companies now require that they make the connections. A quick call may help you out.

I'd go with the 20 gallon from Spike. They do custom ports and ship quickly. Very, very, good quality.

I've done this with several fridges. Cut a hole on the inside of the fridge before you drill. Easily see where the lines are and drill. Never understood that folks that drill from the outside, and than the fridge is ruined.

Monster 2 Roller Mill, Harbor Freight 1/2" drill, and a cheap shelf from the Local Ace Hardware. She ain't pretty but she's been going strong for a long time.
