Brewed my first lager today, happened to be national brew day so I attempted the Rocky raccoon honey lager... got my ferm chamber setup earlier this week . Only my fifth time doing AG and first time at a step mash. We will see how it go, I got a really low OG

April fool brew day 2018

Brewed an extract kit that I had bought my parents for Christmas last year, but I converted it to an AG recipe (I just needed to buy 10lbs of 2-row). I made the switch to AG from extract at the beginning of March this year...second AG brew thus far.

2590+5 gallons of chocolate porter = 2595

+5 gallons Azzaca single hop pale ale (1st all grain brew!) = 2045.5

Setup new keg in keezer, it holds four so I'm buying as I need...(2down 2togo). cut and installed the ball locks, filled and started force carbonation 30psi

The bags are tricky... I've just been able to hold it over my pot and slowly pour it into the wort and stir at the same time. Once it gets more manageable I take my spoon and scoop in some hot wort and scrape the sides as best I can. The 9lbs suck!

Brewed an extract clone of Moose Drool. Dry fit the collar and measured out four tap shanks on the stainless drip tray for my keezer build.

Bottled 4.5 gallons of Janet's brown ale also washed and harvested the cal ale yeast. Painted trim pieces for collar on my keezer build... prepped for the first brew of the year tomorrow
