    NEIPA beer update

    I will have to add a round today then. Added just an oz of citra during high Krausen. Then bottle maybe Thursday. Secondary is a big mouth bubbler with spigot. It's going in there refardless

    NEIPA beer update

    Hydrometer reading after 6 days fermenting. Reading 1.018 about 5.4%abv. Smells amazing peachy Citrus notes and hoppy. Tasted on point too. Happy with color as well. Should finish mid 6%. I think I may have gotten a bad OG reading, was about 1.058. But I don't think I had enough fluids in it...

    New beer recipe and brew day

    Brew day today. Currently In primary fermentor for 4 hours. Now. Slight bubbling OG was about 1.058 at 72 degrees. Looked like 1.050ish but there was about 1/8" or so foam on top Recipe is a northeast hazy style IPA

    Another guy said he doesn't rack to secondary and offered this advice. I'm wondering how his beer was. Seems pretty quick. But I'm def not an expert. "Im an advocate for not racking to secondary, especially because its a NE IPA. Most of the breweries cranking these out do so in less than 10...

    Thanks for your input. Yea maybe I should reduce the boil hops. I do want some Hop zing to the taste, but not a big bitter beer. Maybe .75@ 60 .5 of each at 10 min then add what I subtracted to flame out and dry hopping.
